“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Many times, the reason people struggle to keep going

is not because the path is too difficult,

but because they cannot see the results.

When effort does not bring immediate reward,

when our circumstances remain unchanged,

when prayers seem unanswered,

our hearts begin to question.

Is this meaningless?

Am I going in the wrong direction?

But the life of faith

was never meant to be sustained by what we see.

If every outcome were clearly visible in front of us,

faith would not be necessary.

Often God leads us through seasons

that appear ordinary,

sometimes even long and quiet.

Days pass one after another,

and nothing seems to change very much.

Yet in those quiet days,

God is still working—

slowly, patiently, faithfully.

Faith is not simply a strong feeling.

It is a continual choice.

A choice to believe that God is good

even when the answer has not appeared yet.

A choice to remain faithful

even when the path ahead seems unclear.

And many times,

it is only when we look back later

that we finally realize

those ordinary days

were the very moments

when God was quietly accomplishing His work.

So today,

do not lose heart simply because

you cannot yet see the results.

Keep walking.

Keep trusting.

Keep placing each day into God’s hands.

One day you may discover

that throughout the entire journey of faith,

God was never absent.

Prayer

Lord,

when I cannot see the results,

my heart easily begins to waver.

Teach me to live by faith

instead of relying only on what I can see or feel.

When the road feels ordinary or long,

help me continue to trust You.

Remind me that

even when I cannot yet see it,

You are still at work.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Reflection

• Have I recently felt discouraged because I cannot see results?

• Could God be teaching me a deeper kind of faith in this season?

Today’s Practice

When you feel the urge today

to see immediate results,

pause and quietly say to God:

“Lord, I choose to keep walking by faith.”
